CCTV & surveillance

A camera you cannot get usable footage off is worse than no camera, because you thought you were covered.

  • We specify around sightlines and lighting, not around a camera count on a quote.

Access control & biometrics

Keys get copied and never come back. Access control means you can revoke someone at 17:00 on a Friday.

  • Reader type chosen for the door and the traffic — card, tag, PIN, fingerprint or facial.

Time & attendance

Clocking is a payroll system that happens to live on a wall. Treat it like hardware only and payroll pays for it.

Electrical & power

Most dead cameras are a power problem. Power is designed in at survey, not improvised on install day.

  • Dedicated circuits and DB work so security equipment is not sharing a plug with a kettle.
  • Surge protection at the DB and at the equipment — Gauteng storms are not hypothetical.
  • UPS and backup sizing so recording survives load-shedding instead of gapping out.

Networks & cabling

Nobody photographs the cabling. It still decides whether the system is standing in two years.

  • Structured cabling installed in containment, terminated properly and labelled at both ends.
